Recently, the brocade used to be the King’s clothes and Noble’s. It’s from India, quality and expensive. For the line of gold and silver in a line pattern is genuine, that’s mean if you keep it for a long time it will never been degenerate.
The well known brocade in the past is Varanasi’s clothes or Varanasi’s brocade. In the present, there is lot of appreciatory brocade such as Lamphun’s silk brocade (Inherit from the Ayutthaya Period just about 200 – 300 years ago) not just that one, but also both Nakhonsrithamarat’s silk brocade and Pumriang’s silk brocade (Surachthani)
